Talent Acquisition Management Flashcards

Marketing40 Questions and AnswersFreeUpdated Sep 2026

Talent acquisition management covers the strategy and processes organizations use to identify, attract, select, hire, and onboard people who can meet current and future business needs. It goes beyond filling open positions. Students study how workforce planning links hiring to organizational goals, how job analysis defines what a role requires, how sourcing channels generate candidate pools, how structured selection methods predict job performance, and how offers, onboarding, and metrics show whether the process works. The cards move from core vocabulary to applied decisions, so each group builds on the one before it.

Study this set in order, reading each answer aloud before covering it and trying to explain the idea in your own words. Pay special attention to the reasons behind each practice, since exam questions often ask why a method is used rather than simply what it is. When a card confuses two related terms, such as recruiting and selection or validity and reliability, write a short comparison in your notes. Finally, test yourself without looking at the answers, because active recall builds lasting understanding far better than rereading.
