Social Media Management Flashcards

Marketing40 Questions and AnswersFreeUpdated Sep 2026

Social media management is the practice of planning, creating, publishing, monitoring, and improving an organization's presence on online social networks. This set covers the core ideas a student needs to understand the field, from audience research and content planning to community engagement, measurement, and responsible practice. The five groups move from foundational concepts toward applied skills, so each later card assumes you have grasped the earlier ones. Read the groups in order the first time through.

Study actively rather than passively. Before reading each answer, try to say your own response aloud, then compare it with the card. Pay attention to the reasoning in each answer, because exam questions and workplace problems often present new situations that require applying the same logic. After finishing a group, write a short plan for a fictional account in that subtopic, such as a local bakery or a nonprofit library, and check whether your plan follows the principles you studied. Review missed cards after a day or two, and revisit the whole set before any assessment. Consistent short sessions usually produce better retention than one long cram.
