This is a remote contract role. You can work from anywhere in India. Experience level: 0 to 2 years.
What you will do
- Proofread course lessons, quizzes and resource kits for grammar, spelling and style
- Apply the vaayaa style guide (US English, plain language) consistently
- Flag unclear explanations and factual doubts to editors
- Check headings, lists, tables and links for formatting errors
- Track corrections in shared review sheets
What you bring
- 0 to 2 years of experience in proofreading, copy editing or publishing
- Degree in English, linguistics, journalism or a related subject preferred
- Excellent command of written English grammar and style
- High attention to detail and steady focus on long texts
